About Michael Carswell — Principal

As a seasoned television news professional, Michael Carswell has spent the last 25 years in the video production and event services arena. For six years, Carswell served as a promotions producer and news photographer at the NBC affiliate, WPXI in Pittsburgh and then moved his talents south where he spent another seven years with industry leader WSB-TV in Atlanta.

Carswell continues to push the technology envelope, and Mathes Event Productions now produces a wide variety of video and event-oriented projects such as basic sit-down interviews, live web streaming, and complex 10-camera shoots for broadcast. He has produced major events with presidential visits, award-winning concerts and outdoor festivals. The company now goes beyond high-end video services and handles corporate galas, industry conferences, travel logistics, sound/stage/lighting and all event needs aiming to suit the needs of each and every client.
